Welcome to the online and mobile services ("Service") of Novix Technology Inc. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information that applies to our Service, and your choices about the collection and use of your information.

How we collect & use information

Information you provide us directly

We may ask for certain information such as your username, first and last name, and e-mail address when you register for an app account, or if you correspond with us. We may also retain any messages you send through the Service, and may collect information you provide in User Content you post to the Service. We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Service.

Information we may receive from third parties

We may receive information about you from third parties. For example, if you access our websites or Service through a third-party connection or log-in, that third party may pass certain information about your use of its service to us — such as the user ID associated with your account, an access token, and any information you have permitted the third party to share. You should always review your privacy settings on third-party services before linking them to the Novix Service, and you may unlink them at any time. If you unlink a third-party account, we will remove the information collected in connection with that service.

Analytics information

We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual user.

Cookies, log files, device identifiers & location

When you visit the Service, we may send one or more cookies — small text files — to your device to help you log in faster and enhance your navigation. Our servers also automatically record certain log file information, such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and how you interact with the Service.

When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor, and/or store one or more "device identifiers" (such as a universally unique identifier), and — where you grant permission — "location data" such as GPS coordinates. These help us deliver and improve features; some features, particularly location-based ones, may not function properly if these are disabled.

Communications

We use the information we collect to communicate with you. We may send emails containing newsletters, promotions, and special offers, and you will be given the option to opt out of these. We also send Service-related emails (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations, changes to features, and security notices); you may not opt out of Service-related e-mails.

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Novix Technology Inc. without your consent, except as noted below.

Who we may share your information with

We may share your information with third-party business partners for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Those partners are given limited access as is reasonably necessary to deliver the Service, and we require that they comply with this Privacy Policy.

User Content you choose to share

Any information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service becomes available to the public, subject to your profile and any applicable privacy settings. If you remove information you posted, copies may remain in cached or archived pages, or if other users have copied or saved it.

Change of control

We may buy, sell, divest, or transfer the company or any combination of its products, services, assets, and/or businesses. Your information may be among the items transferred in such transactions, including in mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, or similar proceedings.

When we are required to share

We will disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena, or if we reasonably believe such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) enforce our Terms of Service or protect the security and integrity of our Service; and/or (c) protect the rights, property, or safety of Novix, our users, or others.

Advertising & your choices

Some of our apps may show ads. We may share certain information — such as your approximate location, browser and cookie data, advertising identifiers, and other data relating to your use of the Service — with our advertising partners to deliver ads that may be of interest to you. These third-party ad servers or networks may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to compile information about your device's usage patterns and to measure and personalize ads. We do not sell or share the information we collect directly from you with third-party ad networks for their own marketing purposes.

Purchases & subscriptions

Some of our apps offer in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions, sold and billed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not collect or store any payment or personal financial details. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel; where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. You can view, manage, or cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store or Google Play account.

We also accept voluntary support contributions outside of the apps, processed securely by Stripe. These contributions help us maintain and distribute our apps. We do not collect, store, or have access to payment details such as card numbers, billing addresses, or transaction data — all payment-related information is handled directly by Apple, Google, or Stripe and is subject to their respective privacy policies. Please note: we are not a registered non-profit organization, and support contributions made through Stripe are not tax-deductible. How we store & protect your information

Your information collected through the Service may be stored and processed in Canada, the United States, or any other country in which Novix Technology Inc. or its service providers maintain facilities. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with differing data-protection laws, please note that we may transfer information to a jurisdiction that does not have the same protections, and you consent to such transfer and to the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this policy.

Novix cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve its integrity and security. To protect your privacy, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting access to your account. You are responsible for keeping your password secret. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Novix does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13, and our Service is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it as quickly as possible. Links to other websites & services

We are not responsible for the practices of websites or services linked to or from the Service. When you follow a link to another website, this Privacy Policy does not apply to that third party. Your interaction with any third-party website or service is subject to that party's own rules and policies. This policy also does not apply to information we collect offline or from sources other than through the Service.
